Awesome.
The fact that The Stones played there (or at least tried until a riot broke out) and The Beatles played Suffolk Downs has to rank as one of the greatest upsets of all-time.
You think the Miracle on Ice was a big deal? Trust me. Go hang around Manning Bowl or Suffolk Downs and try to imagine even the greatest promoter on earth booking either one of those shows.
